Came here to meet a friend for dinner and we were not disappointed! The ambiance is a relaxed elegant with just enuf background noise to give it some character but you can still easily have a conversation. I had a Manhattan with rye and they made it perfectly. We started with a tempura lobster tail with chili sauce which was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. We both had the 6 oz filet for dinner, and again, perfectly cooked. Both of us did the truffle butter addition and we were not disappointed. Sides are definitely shareable and we split the coal roasted asparagus and the whipped potatoes. The potatoes are to die for - incredibly flavorful. The asparagus was cooked well, but there is a definite smoky coal flavor. I like smoke and it was pushing the limits on that. Had an after dinner cocktail while we chatted. Our server AJ was fantastic. Only his second day on the job but he blew it out of the water. Helpful, friendly, and very attentive. All in all I will definitely return.

It's easy to love this place! It feels like a winery in Napa Valley. It has a beautiful and inviting feeling. Relaxing yet upscale vibes. I ordered the classic filet. It's butter tender and tastes fire grilled. I asked for wild mushrooms on the side. They are so meaty and full of flavor. He ordered the giant Porterhouse. He loved that they sliced it for him. It was phenomenal and everything you would hope for. We were gifted a dessert. The Kentucky butter cake with rum sauce. I love the taste of the rum sauce. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent service with very moody interior and decorations. Food was exceptional and hearty portions. Loved the extra service and towelette offered between courses as well as heated plates. 10/10 recommend

A-5 and DONNIE IRIS. Absolutely some of the best service and food I've had in my lifetime. From the moment we walked in to the second we left it was one of the best culinary experiences I've had in the greater Pittburgh area. The food and service was top notch along with the cigar lounge. After a wonderful dinner of waygu and wine we were treated to DONNIE IRIS at the cigar lounge. It was a 10/10 experience and we can't wait for our next visit.

Tim was our server for our first visit and we made reservations for the bar area on advice from friends. Tim did a great job guiding us through the main menu and the bar menu. We landed on items we shared off the bar menu including Wagu sliders, a massive French Dip sandwich and a crab cake starter. Great vibe with plenty of space so our conversations were easy and private . Definitely will be back

Holy smokes - this place is nice! My wife and I came here for our anniversary after hearing about it from some neighbors. Right off the bat, you'll be impressed with its classy ambiance, a perfect blend of fancy and traditional chophouse settings. The service was fantastic and I can't imagine how our server could have been better. Very attentive, had great recommendations, and even gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! As far as food goes, I was honestly a little underwhelmed. This dry aged steak didn't hold a candle to dry aged steaks - I expected a bit better quality cut for the price. The sides were ok, nothing special. My wife had the filet mignon, and she had similar a sentiment. The place was packed for a Wednesday night, so I'll have to try something else on the menu next time to see what is drawing such a crowd. Overall, I'd break down the rating as: Ambiance - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Food - 3.5 stars
